pôle Aliénor

pôle Aliénor is one of the higher education and continuous professional training establishments for performing arts in France : they welcome more than 3,500 students on degree courses.

Located in Poitiers and Tours, the institution is accredited by the ministry of Culture to deliver national diplomas for

  • the training of performers leading to the DNSPM (National Higher Professional Diploma of Musician) and to the Bachelor of Musicology of the University of Poitiers and the University of Tours,
  • training as a teaching artist leading to the DE (state diploma) in music teaching,
  • the research master’s degree in « music: research and ensemble practices » in early music in partnership with the University of Poitiers, the University of Tours and the Abbaye aux Dames, la cité musicale – Saintes.

pôle Aliénor delivers the 240-hour training diploma: « Teaching the functional analysis of the body in danced movement (AFCMD) in different choreographic contexts ».

Since 2012, higher education establishments have been able to offer access to the state teacher’s diploma by the VAE route ; the institution has conducted 8 VAE sessions, including 2 in Guadeloupe and 1 in Martinique.

In the field of continuing vocational training, the Aliénor centre develops various training offers. It endeavours to respond to unmet needs and to support the development of the skills of artist-teachers throughout their professional career.

Since November 2021, pôle Aliénor has been Qualiopi certified, respecting the rules guaranteeing the quality of training organisations.
The quality certification was issued for the following categories of actions :

  • Training actions
  • Actions allowing the validation of acquired experience

The institution publishes the « Balises » collection of educational works with the help of artists, researchers and educators. It has also published the CCN and CESMD notebooks, born of a partnership with the national choreographic centre of La Rochelle – Kader Attou.

The Aliénor centre is a member of ANESCAS, the national association of higher education establishments for artistic creation in the performing arts, and participates in the work and discussions carried out by this association.
